Active Kids Rebate 2019

Thank you for supporting the first year of the Active Kids program.

The program has seen huge success in 2018, with over 645,000 vouchers claimed by families across NSW for sport and recreation activities for their kids.

From 1 January 2019, families can claim a new $100 Active Kids voucher for each eligible school-enrolled child.

To ensure another successful year, we'd like to advise you of some important program information.

Active Kids 2018 voucher redemption

  • You can transact and redeem this year's vouchers up until 31 December 2018. After this date the 2018 vouchers expire and cannot be reimbursed. If any of your clubs are holding onto vouchers, they will need to manually enter them into their SNSW account for payment.
  • Payments for vouchers submitted over the Christmas/New Year period will be made in mid-January 2019. You can monitor this in the Payment Reconciliation tab in your SNSW account.

Active Kids 2019 - things you need to know

Your Active Kids provider registration continues into the new year; you do not need to re-register for the program. However, to ensure your account remains active, it is important that you review the following items in your account:

  • Ensure your insurance details are kept up to date. If it is expiring, please upload the new Certificate and update the expiry details in your dashboard.
  • Manage the delegates who login and access your Active Kids account. You can add or remove delegates on the Delegation tab.
  • Manage your programs. To ensure you are visible on the search page and are able to redeem your vouchers, check that your programs are up to date. This can be managed in the Programs tab.
  • Do you have multiple programs listed for Active Kids? If so, there will be some changes to the way you redeem vouchers in 2019. Keep an eye on the Active Kids web page for updates. Fact sheets will be posted shortly to assist you with managing your account.

Claiming a 2019 Active Kids voucher - handy tips

  • Encourage families to claim and use their new vouchers before registering for activities!
  • Information about claiming vouchers, including an instructional video, is available on the SNSW website.
  • The website can be translated into other languages by clicking on Select Language in the menu at the top right of the page.
  • If families have any questions about claiming their voucher, please ask them to get in touch with the Contact Centre on 13 77 88 or email

Creative Kids

  • Creative Kids is a new voucher program launching in January 2019. It is similar to Active Kids and parents will now be able to claim both Active Kids and Creative Kids vouchers.
  • If you are presented with a Creative Kids voucher, you will not be able to transact it in your Active Kids account.
  • You can tell the difference between an Active Kids and Creative Kids voucher by looking at the voucher number. All Creative Kids vouchers start with 9999.
  • Please let parents/carers know they have given you the wrong voucher if you are presented with a Creative Kids voucher.

For further information on Creative Kids, please see the Service NSW website or call the SNSW Contact Centre on 13 77 88.

We greatly appreciate your time and efforts supporting Active Kids in 2018 and look forward to getting more kids active in 2019.

Sawtell Football Club celebrates 50 years!

Come on come all to celebrate Sawtell's 50 years in the community!

The year was 1968 and there was some amazing people by the name of Alex Jeff, Ron Bentley, and Gary Moy to name a few, who put their heads together to start up a soccer club in their local area. At the time there was two teams one Under 10s and one Under 12s.

Fast forward to 1976 and a Senior club was started in the same area by a taxi owner names Ian Mason.

Hitting fast forward again and we come to the year 1996-97 where both these local clubs banned together to create one club.

This soccer club has grown from strength to strength and each year kept growing and exceeding expectations.
Forward to 2018 where they are this year celebrating their 50th Birthday.

Yep that’s right Sawtell FC will celebrate our big 50th this year with old players returning for the event and a few big names.

When: Sunday 30th September 2018
Time: 4:30pm
Where: Princess Room, Sawtell RSL
Dress: Smart Casual
Cost: $30 per head incl. 2 course meal

To secure your ticket please email the club on as soon as possible.

Each and every one of you have helped shaped the club to what it is today so feel proud as we are the largest club in the NCF Zone
